We rate each others dates & trips
A healthy amount of competition between two good sports is always a great time. Laura and I are not good sports (we are both very competitive). This is why we have added the ability to rate each other's performance for every date and trip idea that we have. This keeps us from becoming stagnant and doing the same old things all of the time. All games aside, it's a nice way to think back and go over what the other person thought about your idea - and it's always nice to give your partner a 5star review on Friday's date night after a long week.
We document all of the places we visit
We are using Google Maps API to take note of all of the places that we have visited. All of these maps are readily available for you and your couple to use today. One of the best things about a memory is the location and too often, we forget about that amazing cafe in what's the name, cross street that I forgot, view from that hill that I can't remember etc. while on a trip. So we fixed our own problem by highlighting all of the best places to go broom shopping the next time we go to Hogwarts.
We take lots of pictures of all the things
If a picture tells a thousand words, then our MemoryLane will tell you one billion. But seriously, for those that don't have a photographic memory like us, it's a shame to forget that one sunset from Maui, Hawaii or that one time that the Golden State Warriors smashed the Caveliers in the 3rd quarter. Similar to Instagram and Facebook, we are not reinventing the wheel. We are adding up to 24 photos for each memory, so you all can see the next time we ugly cry to a breathtaking sunset in Thailand.
