Trip 002

Laura's trip idea
Cabo, Mexico

While it was a very brief trip, Cabo was the much-needed getaway that Wil and I both needed to have a quick break from our hectic lives in December. Wil and I are on complete ends of the planning spectrum when it comes to trips. I’m the excel spreadsheet planner, and he’s the play-it-by-ear planner. This worked out perfectly for Cabo because we didn’t have to worry about making various reservations, traveling all over the place, etc. We literally just relaxed at the resort 90% of the time, which was, to be honest, the best thing I could have asked for. ‍

I have visited Mexico in the past and had a relaxing time. This time around, I was a little apprehensive with all of the violence that has been happening. Fortunately for Laura and I, we had a super peaceful time in Cabo (Cartel was nice to us). Laura did a great job at finding a very cost effective resort that had all of the nice bells and whistles. The crazy thing about this trip is the cost. I was not expecting the trip to be so cheap. One thing that we did not take advantage of was the night life. Maybe next time we visit the area we will spend more time at bars and clubs. ‍
